What the Ootdbuy Spreadsheet is

The Ootdbuy Spreadsheet is the wall of OOTDBUY finds we publish on browse by category. Open one and you get product cards: a photograph, a short name, a badge for the Chinese marketplace the item sits on, and a link. Pick one, and the link is what you hand to OOTDBUY.

It is a shelf, not a document. The name is a leftover from years ago, when people really did swap finds in shared files, and it stuck to the thing that replaced them. What you are actually looking at is a browsable catalogue of listings, sorted into categories.

Our count passed 20,000 listings in August 2026. That figure is ours, about our own catalogue, and it is the reason the rest of this site is about narrowing.

The thing people mix up

OOTDBUY and the Ootdbuy Spreadsheet are two different layers

This confusion sends people to the wrong place with their questions, so it is worth being blunt about it. One of these takes your money. The other never touches it.

The Ootdbuy Spreadsheet does

  • Show you what exists, arranged by category
  • Carry a working link to the Chinese listing
  • Give you a starting point when you have no idea what to search for
  • Sit entirely outside your order: it cannot see it, change it or refund it

OOTDBUY does

  • Buy the item from the Chinese seller on your behalf
  • Receive it, open it, photograph it and store it
  • Take the payments and ship the parcel to your country
  • Answer anything about an order, at [email protected]

What one card carries, and what it does not

Four things are on a card and all four are useful. The photograph tells you the shape. The name gives you something to type. The badge tells you which of the three Chinese marketplaces the item comes from, which already tells you what kind of seller you are about to meet. The link removes the search entirely.

What is not on the card: your size in this maker cut, the shipped weight, whether the line to your country accepts it, and whether the seller still has stock. Those are settled on the listing and in the order form, not here.

Why use the Ootdbuy Spreadsheet rather than the search box alone

You can skip the finds wall entirely and go straight to the OOTDBUY search box. Plenty of people do. What the Ootdbuy Spreadsheet saves you is the part that is hardest to produce yourself: a listing that existed, on a named marketplace, in a category someone has already sorted, with a link that still resolves.

That matters most at the beginning. A blank search box asks you to know both what you want and what it is called in Chinese. A card only asks the first one, and hands you the second for free, because its link carries the seller and the variants with it.

Put plainly: why a Spreadsheet listing is worth the detour is that it removes two unknowns at once. You stop having to guess what the thing is called, because the card names it, and you stop having to guess whether a seller exists, because the link goes to one. What is left is the part this guide can actually help with, which is choosing between the several sellers offering the same thing.

What a card does not buy you is judgement. It is not a review, not a stock check and not a promise about quality. Everything on this site after this page is about the gap between a card and a good order.

Browse the categories

Each of these opens a live category page. The Chinese word to search once you are back on OOTDBUY is in the word list, and the category page says what each family does to a search.

Words that behave

Type the Chinese category word and the first screen is already the right garment. These are the ones to start with.

Words that need a qualifier

The bare category word covers too much ground. One extra word for gender, weight or cut does most of the narrowing.

Words that split into shapes

One English word covers several Chinese ones. Bag is the clearest case: shoulder, across the body and two-strap are separate words.

Small things, wide price spread

Accessories return everything from a bulk lot to a single piece, so the price window matters more here than anywhere else.

Read the rules before you search

Nothing wrong with these, but they touch the restricted list or the inspection limits. Worth knowing before you spend an hour choosing.

Where the goods on those cards come from

Three marketplaces, and each one has a personality that shows up in your results. 1688 is wholesale, so listings there assume you are buying to resell, and quantities and pack counts hide in the titles. Taobao is the general market, where almost anything is available and almost anything can match your word. Weidian carries the small independent shops.

None of this makes one of them better. It makes them different questions to ask, which is why the OOTDBUY result page keeps them apart rather than blending them into one list.
